The weather station is a
Wireless Davis Vantage Pro Plus with Fan-Aspirated Radiation
Shield. It sits atop our house, with the anometer
approximatly 6 feet above the highest point on our roof.

The computer interface (Weather Envoy) sits in my office in the basement.
A set of custom Perl scripts does all the data collection and interacts
with a PostgreSQL database for data storage, retrieval and summary activities.
Every 15 minutes via cron, the data gets uploaded to Weather Underground,
CWOP and this site.
